Spencer Clark was involved with Gilbert, Clark & Co. of Hartford and Clark & Coleman of New York City. Ezra Clark, Jr., Spencer Clark, and their brother George H. Clark were involved with Clark & Co. of Hartford and Brattleboro, Vermont. Also contains some shipping papers relating to the brig Cynthia.
